Exhausted they fell down on me in a heavy heap. After a while I
carefully untangled myself from them, gave Rut a tender kiss, got
dressed and sneaked home.
As luck would have it Britt was asleep when I entered our bedroom. I

The next day I went over to Rolf and Rut in some legal business and

Rolf just nodded meekly.

My heart skipped at least one beat. Had she found out about Rut?
"Yes, what about it?"

silent again.
"Yes," I pushed.
